Mindful holidays in Fiss
Because energy efficiency is very important to us!
At a glance
The Hotel s’Röck in Fiss is committed to the responsible use of resources. Solar panels, renewable energy and heat recovery all contribute to a mindful holiday in the Tyrolean mountains.
With the approx. 80m² photovoltaic system with 20 kilowatt peak we can already 30 – 35% produce from our electricity consumption ourselves on sunny days.
Since December 2016 we are offering our guests the opportunity to charge your electric cars at the s'Röck for a small fee.
- We avoid transportation and wash all our laundry on site
- Only environmentally friendly detergents are used
With our partner HOLLU Systemhygiene GmbH. 6170, we have a reliable partner for cleaning and disinfection systems. All areas of our hotel are cleaned and disinfected with tested and certified products and systems.
We are currently evaluating various options to further optimize our energy use:
- Expansion of our photovoltaic system
- Increased use of renewable energy for heating
- Expansion of our heat recovery systems
A decision on the specific implementation of these measures has not yet been made.
- most of the lighting is provided by energy-efficient LED lamps
- we source many of the ingredients from our generous breakfast buffet from the region
- use of refillable soap and shower gel dispensers
- use of environmentally friendly cleaning products
- recycling bins are available and rubbish will be recycled
- towels are welcome to be used more often
- depending on the possibility we kindly ask you, dear guests, to bring your own slippers
We want our beautiful nature to remain so in the future. That is why we are always striving to optimise our energy efficiency. So you can spend your holiday in the Tyrolean Alps with a clear conscience here at Hotel Röck.
