The Hotel s’Röck in Fiss is committed to the responsible use of resources. Solar panels, renewable energy, heat recovery and rainwater harvesting all contribute to a more sustainable holiday in the Tyrolean mountains.
With the approx. 80m² photovoltaic system with 20 kilowatt peak we can already 30 – 35% produce from our electricity consumption ourselves on sunny days.
Since December 2016 we are offering our guests the opportunity to charge your electric cars at the s'Röck for a small fee.
- We avoid transportation and wash all our laundry on site
- Only environmentally friendly detergents are used
With our partner HOLLU Systemhygiene GmbH. 6170, we have a reliable partner for cleaning and disinfection systems. All areas of our hotel are cleaned and disinfected with tested and certified products and systems.

- most of the lighting is provided by energy-efficient LED lamps
- we source many of the ingredients from our generous breakfast buffet from the region
- use of refillable soap and shower gel dispensers
- use of environmentally friendly cleaning products
- recycling bins are available and rubbish will be recycled
- towels are welcome to be used more often
- depending on the possibility we kindly ask you, dear guests, to bring your own slippers
